Liz Henderson My Mother's Best Friend October 8, 2010

Mary Lou was my mom's best friend since the 1940s.  I heard many stories about Mary Lou while growing up.  She and Mary Lou were cheerleaders in junior high, and majorettes in high school.  The went to work in St. Louis and then on to college at SIU Carbondale.  Mary Lou came to visit us a few times and she was always fun and happy.  We visited the Johnson family a few times too and always had a great time and felt very welcome.

To Tjode, Steve, and Tracy--you are in my thoughts.  I have a photo of our moms that I am going to share on this website.  I know this is a difficult time for all of you, and I am sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about Mary Lou....we were so thankful to get to know her when she lived in Danville and as a PEO sister missed her very much when she moved away.  Our thoughts are with you all.
